That could've gone better...

I went driving with my dad today.

Everything went smoothly until a couple idiots decided that they should speed up and try to pass me on the left even though I was signaling left to get into a different lane.

So I almost got into two car accidents because of the stupidity of stupid driving idiots.

The first time I was turning into a turn lane. Some guy saw this and literally sped up to try and beat me there, and he almost hit me because of it. I managed to stop but the idiot honked angrily at me. Didn't get the bird from him but I'm guessing I did get cursed.

The second time was when I was trying to get on the freeway. I was signaling left and going around 40 MPH. Someone behind me thought this was too slow, and even though they could see that I was signaling (and starting to turn) left into a different lane, they passed me on the friggin left.

I'm literally shaking right now. I won't give up driving, of course, but I'm taking extra extra precautions next time I go.

Utah drivers are total morons, dude. :I It's like because they're used to driving in the country on sideroads they feel they can do the same on the interstate.
