I'm sick of this...

My dad keeps admonishing me for not turning in more job applications to places that aren't even hiring. And he's apparently under the impression that I'm not trying very hard to find a job.

...

Four months. Four months I've been at it. And nothing has come up. I've turned in applications without getting so much as a single phone call from a potential employer. And I can't apply to restaurants until I get a food handler's permit, and I can't do that because I don't have a license, mom's too busy during the day to take me, and the health department office is closed on weekends. And on top of that most of the places I can apply to are restaurants or establishments that require you to have a food handler's permit.

I've looked through job listings online. Nothing except stuff that requires years of prior experience.

I'm going to push harder than ever now, but I'm seriously not expecting anything. At all.
