*READ* Ghost Town *READ*

The Big Think

*Slowly rides up on a horse, dismounts and starts walking...* Starts thinking in a narrative voice, "This place it hadn't been the same since they drove us out of the original home."

*looks around the buildings sees signs "Come in and Pung awhile," "Post Racing Hall Of Fame," "Role Playing, come be anything you dream."

Finally comes up to "General Chat Saloon" so I enter*

"I still see visions, when I first met the people here. The way they would talk, have fun...I had never experienced anything like this before."

*Seeing the dusty chairs and tables, the posters of art we created on the walls, starts undoing the gun holster belt I have on then places it on a table continuing to the bar*

"The first months it was good, learning about new people, just all around banter and joy. Sometimes there were arguments, sadness but also were love blossomed between friends and people meant for each other."

*Walking up to the bar a music box sitting there with many names faded, I crank the handle and hear cover songs and recordings of days long past.*

"Many people would come in and out of here but a few remained as regulars, thats when many of us knew what we meant to one another. Family...the kind that you could count on for anything, to laugh with, cry with, or just be there for."

*Jumps behind the counter looking for glasses and dusts it off with my shirt*

"Then we found out that they would close down this beautiful place, we begged them not to but we knew it inevitable. This did not stop us from continuing on the joy in our lives."

*Continues searching for bottles and comes across one it reads "Coke-Cola, one sip and you're hooked," turns the lid and pours into the crystal glass*

"Then all of us booted from this land everything we created and loved destroyed, taken with us only our memories and bonds."

*Takes shot of pure liquid gold tasting how this place felt looking around at a room once filled with life and joy*

"Months had passed with no continuation of the togetherness we had once felt, until we were contacted summoned to one place to rebuild even though this wasn't the same it felt like home again. A re-creation so perfect in memory giving joy to many of us...but we dwindled."

*Throws glass down onto the bar with the names of the returners inscribed into it bringing one single crack into the pure cup of laughter we crafted.*

"I did not mean to mean to venture away...to get distracted in my journeys and the outbreak. But now I return the magic still seeping out of the walls of this grand place yet diminishing."

*un-sheathes bowie knife with a golden hilt with silver Guam letters inlay-ed onto it and walks to the front of the bar facing the door and kneels down*

Mutters out "This place means so much to me, the only place where I truely belong where people saw the beauty in my personality when they had every reason not too. Everyone who ever walked into this place was and always will be beautiful, from there complexion, unique personality, the way we interacted...the most solid bonds of ours shall never break because of what we meant to each other."

*Tears roll down face as I carve into the the bar, "This place may be empty, but the true way The Big Think dies is if we forget it from our hearts and memories." wood shaved away as I sign it "Thank you...Love, KH*

*Stands up knife and hand lifting up and driving it into my name carved in the bar leaving the knife resting in the wood straight up.

*Turning and slowly walking out picking up the holster into the bright and harsh sunlight...into the world...*

*before you leave, a shape emerges from the darkest corner of the saloon* *it's me*

*spurs jingle, Colt rattles against my leg as I slowly approach you*

*tips hat up* Kyle. Good to see you here.

*squints* "Jonny-boy?"
*handshakes with you* "I knew at least one person had to come around here...It's still beautiful"

Just as beautiful as I remember it. Even with all this dust. *runs finger through dust on bar counter*

So, you gonna stick around for a while? Or are you just passing through?

"It is still the same underneath all this dust"
"I don't know yet, you?"
*grabs two glasses* "Care for a round?"

It is.

Hm, I might stay a while.

*sits at bar counter, puts boots up on counter* Sure, I could use a couple rounds.

*enters through the back door*

"Well, it's certainly been a while."

*opens up canteen and puts to lips*

*pours out a drink to Jonathon and myself* "Cheers"

*Notices someone walk in* Ello care for a drink?

*crawls out from under the bar counter sobbing*

I don't do the whole cowboy analogy thing, but.

*walks slowly into the saloon wearing a tuxedo* Don' I look good? Eh? *raises eyebrows*

*caps canteen*

Nah, I had to give that up. I'll stick to my water, thanks.

But it's nice to be back.

*Keeps it cool on the outside but meanwhile dying*

*nods and pours a few glasses* "Did any of us really leave in a perfect dimension this is still going strong..."

*walks around, remembering*
